September 7, 2022 at 6:30 PM begins the 26th year of Team KIDS at Campbellsburg Baptist Church. Members of the church began this ministry to the children of our community to provide a mid-week time of Bible Study, Crafts, Music, Video, and more. All children in the Campbellsburg, KY community are welcome to participate in the program. There is no charge and it doesn't matter if you attend a different church or whether you attend church.
New this year is Team Youth. CBC's own variety of Team KIDS for youth age children beginning with those youth in the 6th Grade of school and older.
Over the summer, CBC has been working hard to improve our facility. The improvements include a remodeled Sanctuary and Sanctuary entrance, new flooring for the Fellowship/Meeting Hall, and a new projector for the sanctuary. All of these improvements create a better experience for those attending these meetings.
The quality and importance of the sessions hasn't changed however. The children and youth are taught about God and Jesus and the crucial values and practices taught in the Bible. Children and youth today more then ever, need to know they are a wonderful, unique person created by a loving God who wishes to have a relationship with them. They are more than a "blob of cells" that was created for no purpose. Understanding that they were designed by an all-knowing, all-powerful, every where present Creator gives meaning to their life and makes life valuable. It lets them know they are a person of value who should protect their own integrity against those who would hurt and abuse them. Finally, it lets them know that God loves them, no matter what they do, and has a wonderful plan for their life.
This knowledge can reduce the suicide rate, drug use, and promiscuity among our young people.
Give your children and youth the best foundation in life by having them attend Team KIDS, or Team Youth in addition to regular church attendance!
